Fiber Laser Cutting in Malaga, Perth
United Metals Laser cuts steel plate and sheet on Japanese-brand 12 kW and 6 kW fibre lasers at our workshop at 7 Irvine Drive, Malaga. We cut carbon steel up to 40mm thick and sheets up to 2500 x 6000mm, for fabricators, engineers, builders and manufacturers across Perth.
Fibre laser cutting capacity
Maximum sheet size is 2500 x 6000mm. Thickness depends on the material:

Cutting tolerance by thickness

Mark any critical dimensions on your drawing and we will confirm them before cutting.
Thick plate and steel plate cutting
Fibre laser suits brackets, base plates, gussets, flanges and other plate parts. Cutting from your DXF means repeat orders come out the same every time. Parts can go straight on to bending and folding, welding and CNC machining in the same workshop, so one supplier takes the job from flat plate to finished part. Need tube or pipe cut as well? How to get a fibre laser cutting quote
- Send your DXF or DWG files (AutoCAD and SOLIDWORKS files are fine too), with a PDF drawing if you have one.
- Tell us the material, grade, thickness and quantity for each part, plus any bending, welding or machining you need.
- Our engineers review the drawing, confirm the price and lead time, and can suggest changes that make parts easier or cheaper to make.
